Star Wars from Scratch: Piano Lesson #5 - Starting the Fanfare

Now we start the beginning of that famous brass fanfare from John Williams' "Star Wars" theme. To me, this sounds like a musical dogfight! This lesson looks at how the Bass Clef works and finishes with making the opening chord complete.

Star Wars from Scratch #2: Learning to read notes in the Treble Clef

Now that we've been introduced to basic directions on a piano, we're ready to learn the first chord in the right hand. We start by learning about the Treble Clef, otherwise known as the G clef, and then from there we can make out the remaining notes. Along the way, we talk about flats and ledger lines.
