Composers of the 21st century, take note - the iPad may very well become the new lingua franca of e-publishing formats when it comes to online digital sheet music. While some folks complain about the small viewing size of the iPad (version 1) screen, composer Stéphane Horeczko is turning lemons into lemonade on his site - Partitions - by producing PDF versions of his compositions that are optimized for viewing on the iPad. The result is a clear, beautifully formatted score that is easy on the eyes and ready to be viewed with PDF apps (see a list of AirTurn-compatible apps here).

Digital scores can be purchased directly from the Partitions website. You can also listen to audio samples of each work, as well as view a virtual version of the scores themselves complete with "page turns".
